UFO Sightings May to August 2010

Hi & Welcome to the very first blog of D.U.F.O.R. ( Dagenham UFO Research ).

I will be updating this blog when the news comes in, so you can hopefully all keep right up to date with the UFO sightings as they arrive here at HQ! 

So far it has been a very busy year for DUFOR having formed DUFOR in early August 2010 I decided to make sure that one important aspect to DUFOR was the availability of raw UFO data to be given out as much as possible to you the UK & World public, and hopefully also so you all that NOTE all UFO sightings of late are in fact anything to do with those pesky Chinese lanterns that SOME people have took it upon themselves to release FREELY in the UK skies ( much to the annoyance of many authorities & UFO investigators I might add grrrrr ! ) and in the hope of what? Personally I feel that they were at first bought & released purely for events, but as time has gone by I have a sense that SOME people are eagerly buying these lanterns in the hope of grabbing the local headlines & causing a small stir in the village or town ( London has had its fair share I can tell you ) but as I am the eternal optimist I have a feeling that within time the Chinese lantern will become the FAD I am hoping it will turn into, and perhaps we can resume UFO watching in the nights skies without the fear of having orange flicking lanterns slowly drift by! A word of advice for all UFO buffs * Please if you think you are filming or taking a picture of a Chinese lantern then you most possibly are - go with your gut instinct! * You could be missing REAL UFOs & objects by focusing so much time & effort on Chinese lanterns, if one comes over just take a small glimpse & then realize that it will succumb to a withering burnt out wreck very soon & history will have forgotten it!

Ok some RAW UFO Data for you to nibble into, staring with a very good sighting in the wee small hours of May 6th ( Yes the UK General election morning ! ) and seen by a local resident in the town of Dagenham.

Mr. X was asleep & around 1.30am he was awoken with the sound of a loud humming, thinking this was a pretty odd sound to be hearing at that time in the morning and when anytime to be truthful ( Mr. X was very detailed about this sound to me when describing it ). He tried to wake his wife up without avail as she was in a very deep sleep, so following the sound he went downstairs and noticed the sound was coming from the back of the house, very low bass noisy humming sound? He went into the kitchen and looked out of the back door window into the sky above his house & noticed a large thin cigar shape object with rows of lights across it and very weird colored lights I might add, which were translucent type light red & purple. The object in size was estimated to be about the length of 2 double decker UK buses! ( That is one big object folks ! ). Mr. x said the object in his view must have been seen or heard by other people due to the size of it & its noise that it was pumping out, as he watched the object for about 2 minutes it then began to slowly turn away from his view and drift slowly over towards the local park (Parsloes Park ) and head towards the A13 going towards London. My inquiries are  continuing in the hope of gaining some answers to the sighting of such a large object over a east London town. The fact it was on the election morning was coincidencedental but as someone suggested to me in a rather laughing manner, perhaps the politicians ( a lot of people view them as not like me or you ) were just dropping leaflets in dagenham in a more sophisticated manner !! I will keep you posted if I get anymore information about this very weird UFO sighting in Dagenham May 6th 2010.  Another UFO sighting from Dagenham was given tome last week by phone - here are the details:

Mrs. Y was sitting in her spare room working on her computer, the time was around 8.30pm on a 

clear night on August 9th 2010 when she noticed a very bright object in the sky. At first she thought

she was watching the Northern Star (Link here for northern star details ) 

so she watched it for about 5 minutes when she said " it suddenly started to stretch out across

the sky and then it began to rise up and then it disappeared into the night sky within a flash?

How odd is this? Now I do now we have some astronomical things that can appear in the sky,

but I am a little taken back by the fact that the object first of all just appeared in the sky very bright

and then sat still for about 5 minutes before this action occurred? Mrs. Y then kept a look at the sky

for another 10 to 15 minutes before returning to her computer work. I thanked Mrs. Y for her report

and told her if my inquiries found anything of interest or explainable I would let her know ASAP, as

of yet I cannot find any other detail on this UFO sighting so the case continues. I can tell you for the

record I don think it was a meteor or neither a satellite traversing the sky as remember Mrs.Y said

the object appeared still in the sky very bright and then begun to stretch out across the sky
